Event Mode supercharges your networking at conferences, trade shows, and meetups. Automatically tag every connection with the event name, scan cards in batches, and follow up effectively after the event ends.

Enabling Event Mode

Activate Event Mode before or during an event to start auto-tagging all your new connections.

Open the Exchange Tab

In the mobile app, navigate to the Exchange tab.

Toggle Event Mode

Tap the Event Mode toggle at the top of the screen.

Enter Event Name

Type the event name (e.g., 'TechCrunch Disrupt 2026'). This will be applied to all scanned cards.

Start Networking

Every card you scan will automatically be tagged with this event.

You can also enable Event Mode from the web dashboard. Go to Dashboard > Connections and click the Event Mode toggle in the header.

Batch Scan Mode

At busy events, you don't have time to review every card immediately. Batch Scan Mode lets you queue multiple cards and review them all later.

Enable Batch Mode

Toggle on Batch Scan in the Exchange tab.

Scan Cards Quickly

Scan cards continuously - they'll be queued for later review.

Review Queue

After the event, tap 'Review Scanned Cards' to process your queue.

Add Notes & Tags

Review each card, add notes about your conversation, and confirm the save.

Event Dashboard Filter

After an event, filter your connections to see everyone you met in one place.

Filter by event name in the Connections tab
See event statistics (total connections, hot leads)
View grouped by company or role
Export event contacts as a separate list

Smart Context Detection

TitanCard can automatically detect when you're at an event using smart context features on mobile:

Location Context - Detects known event venues via geofencing
Calendar Context - Reads your calendar for event entries
Manual Override - Always set your own event context

Smart Context is available on Pro plans. Enable it in Settings > Smart Context to auto-detect events.

Post-Event Digest

After an event ends, TitanCard generates a summary to help you follow up effectively.

Summary of all connections made at the event
Hot leads highlighted based on AI scoring
Suggested follow-up timing (24-48 hour window)
Pre-generated follow-up email templates
One-click batch follow-up actions

Meeting someone you've met before? TitanCard detects reconnections and shows your previous meeting history.

Event Network Graph

Visualize your event connections in the Network Intelligence graph. Filter by event to see only connections from that specific event and identify clusters.
