NFC (Near Field Communication) cards let you share your digital business card by simply tapping your card against someone's smartphone. It's the fastest, most impressive way to network.

How NFC Works

NFC uses short-range wireless technology to transfer data between devices. When you tap your TitanCard NFC card against a phone, it instantly opens your digital business card - no app required.

Ordering NFC Cards

Order physical NFC cards through the TitanCard dashboard and have them shipped directly to you.

Go to Orders

Navigate to Dashboard > Orders > New Order.

Select Your Card Design

Choose which of your digital cards to link. You'll see a preview of how it will look.

Choose Card Style

Select from Classic PVC, Metal, Wood, or Custom printing options.

Enter Billing Address

Provide your billing information for payment processing.

Enter Shipping Address

Add your shipping address. Toggle 'Same as billing' if they match.

Select Shipping Method

Choose from available shipping options - rates are calculated in real-time based on your location.

Complete Payment

Review your order and complete the checkout via Stripe.

NFC cards are priced at £10 each plus shipping. Pro and Team plans include discounted rates.

Order Tracking

Track your order from production to delivery:

  • Order confirmed - Payment processed
  • In production - Card being manufactured
  • Shipped - Label created, in transit
  • Delivered - Arrived at destination

You'll receive email updates at each stage and can view real-time tracking via the carrier's website.

Linking Your Card

Receive Your Card

Wait for your NFC card to arrive in the mail.

Open TitanCard App

Open the mobile app on your iPhone or Android device.

Go to Exchange Tab

Navigate to the Exchange tab in the app.

Tap 'Setup NFC Card'

Select the NFC Setup option to start the wizard.

Hold Card to Phone

Hold your NFC card against the back of your phone until it's detected.

Select Digital Card

Choose which of your digital cards to link to this physical card.

Confirm Setup

Test the card by tapping it again to verify it opens your profile.

Compatible Devices

  • iPhone 7 and later (iOS 14+)
  • Most Android phones (2015 and later)
  • No app needed on the recipient's phone
  • Works through most phone cases

NFC Security

Each NFC card has a unique identifier (UUID) for security:

  • UUID-based authentication prevents unauthorized use
  • Only the card owner can change the linked profile
  • Lost cards can be unlinked from your account
  • Scan tracking shows when and where cards are tapped

Direct Mode

Enable Direct Mode to have NFC taps redirect to a specific URL instead of your profile. Perfect for:

  • Sending people directly to a booking link
  • Linking to a specific product or service page
  • Driving traffic to a landing page
  • Custom campaign tracking

Managing Physical Cards

View and manage all your physical NFC cards from the dashboard:

  • See all linked cards and their status
  • View scan analytics per card
  • Change linked digital card
  • Disable lost or stolen cards
  • Order replacement cards

Verified Badge on NFC

If you've completed identity verification, your verified status is included in the vCard data when someone taps your NFC card, adding an extra layer of trust.
